delve Magazine is an online arts and culture magazine based in Guelph, Ontario, Canada. It is subject to both Canadian and International privacy laws.

Visiting

Minimal personal information is collected from anonymous visitors who do not have posting privileges on the website. Our hosting services collect anonymized IP information used strictly for monitoring website traffic, including the Country of that IP address. This is strictly for collecting metrics and ensuring our content delivery network serves our website content from a server that is closest to them.

Posting

We do not collect any personal information of our visitors through a commenting system. Editors who have access to our administrative panel may have their personal information stored in a database that stores their credentials. Asides from someone’s name and email address, we do not collect any information that is not necessary for users to publish content on the website.

User-generated articles will feature an author block at the bottom of the page that indicates the author’s name and a short biography.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
